I work with children, adolescents and adults and have a special interest in treating individuals with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), binge-eating disorder and those with impairing body image concerns including body dysmorphic disorder and muscle dysmorphia. I also work with people experiencing difficulties with relationships, mood and attention as well as those with troubling intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. I collaboratively tailor treatment plans to fit the needs of my individual patients, taking into account their experiences, needs preferences and the scientific evidence behind available treatments. I utilize individual and family psychotherapy and psychopharmacology and I may recommend additional treatment modalities when indicated. I frequently collaborate with other specialist physicians, therapists and school staff to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.

I believe in the importance of the human connection; therefore, my practice is predominantly conducted in person. I can conduct secure telemedicine visits and reserve this treatment modality for special circumstances or when health concerns require extra caution.

For children, adolescent and young adults with significant eating disorders, I provide comprehensive family-based psychotherapeutic treatment. Through this intensive treatment, I will work closely with your child's pediatrician or family medicine physician and I will empower you to restore your child’s health through an empathy-driven approach.

I provide select forensic evaluations for children, their families and for adults, including child custody and criminal court evaluations. I have had several reports accepted by the Manhattan Family Court.
